Whats poppin people's, So this week I lost my book (Twilight) :(.... I know its lame huh... But I got another book which I guess is pretty cool... The new was called "It Ain't all for Nuthin" which is about a boy named Lonnie who lives with his Grandma Carrie... The part that stood out to me was in the 1st chapter, when they were praying one night, and Grandma Carrie asked are you praying from your heart or from your memory... Which really made me think because me being a Christian, I sometimes get caught up with everything else I am doing like Sports, or Homework (UHHHH) , and when I am praying, I dont always say it from my heart, but just say one of the prayers that I have memorized over my fourteen years on earth...So thats what I will be workin on this week...

So last week i started a new book called Twilight, which is by Stephenie Meyer. When i first hearId of this book, i didnt want to read it, because i thought it was going to be some type of girly book. But it is actually pretty cool and i will enjoy reading more. It is about this girl named Bella and this guy who she likes, named Edward who is a vampire.

Second Reading Journal

In chapters 8-15, Panchito talks about how he has to juggle high and work. I n chapters 8-9 Panchito talks about how he is excited to go to high school. I had the same jitters about starting high school, but his were excited, and mine were a little more apprehensive. It wasnt that I wasnt excited about starting high school, it was just that I had heard that this school is really different from other schools, so I ( yes me ) was a little dare I say scared. Now I know thats hard to believe, but I was. Then after reading more, I realized that I complain too much, I mean Panchito had to deal with working before and after school, learning how to write English better, and mantaining good grades, and I have to what do my schoolwork and go to a couple of sport's practice's. And I know you guys might be thinking " Tony you are being to hard on yourself, You are BEAUTIFUL". Thanks guys, and I know that looking this good is a fuul time job, but that is still no excuse....

1st reading journal

In chapter 2 the boys reflect on things they have to do now that they are living without their parents including when Francisco reminices about having to eat balongna sandwiches, instead of his mom's homemade taquito's, which i have had personal experience with, because when I went to an overnight summer camp, and I didnt have my mom to wake me up, or do my laundry, or cook.
